Farm to School food analysis is to understand the availability and consumption of nutritious food for children living in Wasco and Hood River Counties with a focus on decreasing health disparities between schools. The analysis includes completion of the OSU Extension Physical Activity and Nutrition Environment Tool (SPAN-ET) and the development/consolidation of school nutrition task forces in Hood River and Wasco Counties.

Engage and increase physical activity for elementary aged children and their families by providing family Swim Passes for eligible Oregon Health Plan households. Families could redeem certificates at either Northern Wasco County Parks and Recreation District or Hood River Valley Parks and Recreation District.
